Sym-Biotic Titan

Sym-Biotic Titan is a new animated series created Genndy Tartakovsky and airing on Cartoon Network. After first two episodes, I have to admit, I haven't been this much excited about a cartoon since forever!
The story begins with three refugees from occupied planet Galaluna- princess Ilana, her rebellious bodyguard Lance and highly advanced robot Octus crash-landing on Earth. Chased by the army, a mysterious Galactic Guardian Group and the giant monsters from outer space, the trio enrolls into high school in hopes to conceal their identity and adjust to earthling customs. While Lance is a capable in hand-to-hand combat and both he and princess have personal armor suits featuring high mobility and firepower, when a need arises all three combine into a giant robot ready to kick some alien ass.
Not surprisingly, Sym-Bionic Titan features many awesome combat sequences and lots of destruction in the middle of a city, but contrarily to Megas XLR, with very real consequences. Robots are in CG, but thankfully not a eye-cancer, animation is fluid, character design is acceptable, nerdiness and comedy are as expected of Genndy Tartakovsky.
In other words: this show is putting good back in Cartoon Network and is definitely worth checking out.

  3. I liked last night's episode. A robot giving relationship advice that he got from a kids show and it fitting perfectly with the 2 conversations was priceless.

  4. Goddamn Cartoon Network. It used to be on TV here for a couple of years when I was a kid. But then they decided to make you pay to unlock the channel. Well whatever, they started dubbing Dexter, Cow & Chicken and all those series anyway, which sucked.
